Victoria Beckham Returns To Manchester
Victoria Beckham left the bright lights of LA behind her yesterday as she returned to the city she called home for many years - Manchester.
In town to launch her latest fragrance, Signature for Her, the Spice Girl hit the town with friends last night, looking her usual glamorous self in a flared black jumpsuit (not too dissimilar to the one Maggie Gyllenhaal wore to the Dark Knight premiere in London last month) with her short hair sleeked back and few accessories on show.
And it seems as though, despite not living there for 5 years, Vic still holds Manchester dear to her heart. "It [the launch] was meant to be in London but I said no," she told local reporters. "I said please can I go to Manchester instead? I love Manchester, it's got a really good feel to it. I'm really excited about coming back because, of course, it's where I met David."
And, Posh being Posh, she plans to indulge her favourite pastime - "Manchester's just so fashion conscious," she said. 'And there's great shopping." You can take the girl out of Manchester..!
If you're able to get down to the city's Harvey Nichols store today, Victoria will be signing bottles of her new fragrance between 11am and 1pm - go down and grab a glimpse of her!
I don't like that dress that Victoria's wearing! but i kind of like the way it tucks into her waist so it's gives her some shape, but otherwise it's very boring and the colour does nothing for her!

She looks like a walking corpse...put some weight on women! Then you might look decent in ya clothes!

she looks about 50

I'm sorry but I really don't like this ensemble at all. Her hairstyle is really unflattering too, and I think she knows it, VB looks unusually uncomfortable in these pics.

what does it matter what weight a person is as long as they are comfortable in themselves & happy???
I think she beems confidence and it stunning.
well done victoria - keep it up!!!

The cut of the top half of the jumpsuit looks really good on her, but i think the bottom half is the kind of OTT thing only a celebrity would wear. i really like the more simple wearable jumpsuits but i have never actually seen anyone wearing one on the town!

I disagree with the ASOS comment. This jumpsuit is VERY unsimilar to the one Maggie Gyllenhaal wore two weeks ago!!! This boring one can't be compared with Maggie's stunning jumpsuit. And it doesn't fit Victoria at all. Wonder how much she was payed to wear this outfit ;-)

VB rules, she is slated constantly and why?? I do not know. I think this outfit is stylish and she looks lovely, very understated but classy.

Woo, I live in Manchester. :D I totally didn't think that was a jumpsuit, I thought it was a dress. o_o If it was a dress, it would look more flattering because the more I look at the leg part, the more it looks weirder. Apart from this, I think she looks quite sophisticated. :)

i love victoria but i do prefer the casual look shes been sporting lately! i think people should give her a break instead of constantly criticizing her.. she is only human at the end of the day!

I think Victoria Beckham is a Robot!

i'm not a fan of Posh at all but this is the nicest i've seen her look in a long time, glad she's covered up those weird globe shaped boobs and dropped some of the weird bright coloured chavvy stuff she's been wearing recently

I think Victoria looks fantastic in both outfits, she can put anything on and look amazing, weight, tan, hair should not be a negative, people always want to put her down and nit pick on stupid things, god give the girl a break!!! if you have confidence and wear it well that is what sells it for her and she is one major style icon, you go girl!!!!!

the jump suit would have been much better if the bottom half didnt drown her, wide legs great but no legs at all....she looks swamped which is a shame as the top half is fab x

the jumpsuit is fab
the structure is excellent you can tell the woman has taste and an eye for detail and quality.
the simplicity allows for this creation to be admired for its craftsmenship
and is more flattering that most of the jumpsuits available on the highstreet
