Maggie Gyllenhaal Goes From Batman To Back Woman
We headed down to Leicester Square in London yesterday evening for the European Premiere of The Dark Knight to catch a glimpse on the glitz and glamour of the red carpet - and we weren't left disappointed...
Maggie Gyllenhaal - who replaces Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes in the film - followed up the gorgeous Dries Van Noten dress she wore to the film's US premiere last week in a plunging backless jumpsuit by Stella McCartney, worn with nothing but a super-toned back and a sultry look - perfect.
And, of course, the usual crop of London party-goers made an appearance to celebrate what is being tipped as the film of the summer. Gal pals Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung seemed to be having a good giggle together - and why not when your outfits are this good? Daisy added her usual twist to her little black dress with a pair of calf-length lace-up boots, whilst Alexa kept things chic and simple in a black pencil skirt, white satin top and a black jacket, all accessorised with a couple of pendants, a studded clutch bag and a gorgeous pair of patent Mary-Janes.
Elsewhere, Kelly Osbourne shocked the crowds gathered at the railings by sporting a hint of a tan instead of her usual white skin, along with a black lace dress (already a next season staple), whilst Peaches Geldof injected a dash of colour in her tiered dress complete with pom pom detail.
Oh, and we've thrown in a picture of Batman himself, Christian Bale. Just because we're good like that. Isn't he yum?
I have long admired the gorgeous Christian Bale - he is deelish! Am a fan of the shaved head too. Thanks for the pic ASOS - nice to see a hunky man on here for a change! xoxo

Wow, Maggie looks effortlessly beautiful and elegant! All the it girls look rubbish apart from Daisy - loving those boots! Christian Bale looks like, "Oh I am awesome 8)" Which he is!

Well, I love Maggie's look, and Daisy's, and I think Kelly looks better with a bit of a tan rather than her normal glarish, white skin, but i dont like the lace dress, tbh. I really love peaches style, and i think it is cool how she stands out, with a dash of colour against all the boring old black!

i must say that kelly is looking better each day. since she's lost some weight her look is getting better the tan looks really good on her. even though i don't like her dress i still think she looks fab

its such a shame that Christian bales arrest has overshadowed his performance in the film as this is getting more news coverage than his acting skills.
i love alexa chungs outfits and will definitley be using her as inspiration for my wardrobe. Daisy lowe looks sweet, but im really not keen on peaches outfit and have grown to dislike her after reading the news story about how she treated the paramedics that resusitated her on sunday after her drugs overdose.

Maggie Gyllenhaal...didnt like her dress its was flattering on her back but drowned her front....a perfect example of how following fashion doesnt always look right, for someone who is so attractive that dress certaintly wasnt showing her off to her best...
Kelly however looked amazing.

I fink alexas style is kl but its getin a bit borin now aside from that pink luella dress she wore recently its jus black after black after black... peaches i find borin npredictable, daisys style i like coz its quite varied n daring....
