If Sarah Jessica Parker isn't the most wonderful, adorable woman on this earth, then we'll eat our Manolos (or at least we would, if we owned a pair) - just look at these pictures.

Proving our speculation that she must have put her feet up after the New York SATC premiere may have been a little hasty, the pint-sized lovely was up bright and early yesterday morning to appear on America's Early Show (which goes out live at 7am NY time - she was evidently just getting her beauty sleep the night before).

Wearing a gorgeous blue satin dress and a killer pair of black lace-up heels, SJP managed to look as fabulous as ever, despite what must have been one awfully early wake-up call.

When does she ever look anything but?

There can't be a woman alive that didn't absolutely love the spring/summer Luella collection. From the ditsy floral prints to the gorgeous tiered dresses, it was perfection in a collection. However, given the designer price tag, we've got about as much chance of ever purchasing any of it as Posh has of ever needing to say "excuse me, have you got this in a size 12?".

Roberto Cavalli Wines and Dines the Stars

Fresh from playing host to numerous parties over in Cannes, Roberto Cavalli brought the glitzy show to London last night, hosting a party at 17 Berkeley Street to celebrate the launch of his self-titled wine. We hear that the designer plonk, made from grapes grown at his family estate in Tuscany, will come in leopard print and RC logoed bottles - well, would you expect anything less?

Joining Signore Cavalli at the launch was a mix of celebrities, including actress Margo Stilley and Brit gal Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Margo broke the fashion rules as usual, choosing to pair her floor-length colour block dress with flat gold sandals (well, at 5'10" she can pretty much get away with it), whilst SEB get things fun in a swan-print blouse and black pencil skirt styled with a red clutch and square toe heels. She's not the first celeb we've seen wearing this particular breed of footwear - we spotted Dita Von Teese wearing a pair over in Cannes, and Liv Tyler at her Letterman TV appearance.

Man, we wish we could be as polished as Dita Von Teese. Even when she's visiting celebrity playground Mahiki - the hotspot countless stars have been snapped stumbling out of - she's as cool and dignified as ever. And doesn't she look a total Betty? The hair is perfectly curled, the trademark black eyeliner and red lipstick make-up is faultless and the floral pencil skirt dress - don't even get us started! The only thing we're not quite feeling is the abundance of clashing colour - the red of her dress, nails and lips against the pink of her shoes and bag is a little much. But, as Mahiki-goers go, she's in a class of her own.

Dita Von Teese looks almost dressed down in these photographs compared to the decadent costumes that she’s hailed for - but doesn’t she do understated well!? Dita is, as ever, right on trend with this 1950s fitted floral dress, with simple accessories allowing more of a focus on the shoes. And what girl doesn’t love a pair of shocking pink stilettos? Dita is no exception and manages to pull these beautiful shoes off without a hint of WAG. It's Official! A Mini Simpson Is On The Way

We asked the question just a couple of days ago and, with speculation reaching fever pitch, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have confirmed what we long suspected - Ashlee is pregnant with the couple's first child.

In a joint statement made on Pete's website, the happy couple announced,

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

More From The Sex and the City Girls...

...well, two of them at least.

Kim Cattrall continued the SATC publicity trail last night, taking the film to Toronto for the Canadian premiere (poor Canada - London, Berlin and NY get all four girls and all they get is Samantha). Nevertheless, the Canadian-raised actress ensured she wowed the crowds gathered to celebrate the movie, again choosing to wear Vivienne Westwood - this time round, it was a pink satin one-shouldered number with strappy silver sandals and a big ol' sparkling ring.

Meanwhile, Kristen Davis remained in New York following the premiere there on Tuesday night to help re-launch a magazine. And, we think you'll all agree, she was most definitely at her best in beautifully fitting green dress and gold sandals.

Lucky Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon must have got to sling off their Louboutins and put their feet up...

 

Victoria Beckham Is Pretty In Pink (Accessories)

When it comes to naming modern day style icons, there can be little doubt that Victoria Beckham makes the list - love her or hate her, she is a fashion force to be reckoned with.

And, as a style icon, Victoria knows it's important to have your own set of style rules you adhere to at all times - and in Vic's case, these are, from what we can gather, that your accessories should match and you should always dress appropriately for your location.

So it was no surprise to see Victoria enjoying a leisurely lunch with son Cruz at Mexican eatery Pink Taco yesterday wearing matching pink shoes (which we found so amazing we simply had to show a close-up of them) and a pink Birkin bag.

Worn with a simple black wrap dress,  a new, much-shorter haircut and the 'Victoria' sunglasses from her own dVb range, it's not hard to see why women the world over emulate the Spice Girl's style.

We wonder if she had the fajitas?

Hot on the fabulous heels of the four leading ladies, here's the best of the rest from last night's Sex and the City New York premiere...

Ashley Olsen worked the tailored look, opting to wear a satin shirt under a white tux jacket with a good ol' pair of black trousers. She finished her look with laid-back hair and a fab tan oversized clutch bag.

Elsewhere, actress Emmy Rossum kept things super-chic in a black and white bandeau dress, worn with black sandals and a black clutch bag.

But it was the Black Eyed Peas' Fergie that won the evening's Best Dressed award, as far as we're concerned, taking to the pink carpet in a beautiful prom dress that Carrie herself would be proud to wear. Paired with red ankle strap heels, the woman they call 'The Duchess' was every inch the lady.

Anyone else beginning to suspect that there was a "metallics and neutrals only" dress code specified on the invitation?
